TOP TEN TUESDAY – BOOKS I WANT YOU TO GET FOR CHRISTMAS

Good morning, friends! It’s Tuesday, so that means it’s time for another edition of Top Ten Tuesday. This week’s topic is all about your Christmas wishlist books, but I truly do not need any books this year, so I’m doing a twist on this one. These are the books that I WANT YOU TO GET FOR CHRISTMAS. Basically, these are books that I really want more people to read, because I enjoyed them so much.

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl.

You can find my reviews for these books (minus Station Eleven) if you click the names: Book Lovers, An Enchantment of Ravens, The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, A Taste of Gold and Iron, The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy, Empire of Exiles, The Drowned Woods, A Marvellous Light, and Captive Prince.

Have you read any of these?

  1. So many good books that I also recommend too! Hart and Mercy & Book Lovers for sure!! Empire of Exiles is on my list and hoping to read it this coming year. 🙂

  2. Great list! I’m feeling like such a numpty for forgetting to add Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches to my TBR but thanks for the reminder cos I’ve just gone on and put it on there for me to remember to buy it! 😂 I loved Hart & Mercy and Drowned Woods and I also had Gold & Iron on my list this week. Hoping to get my hands on it soon!

  3. I’d heard such good things about A Marvellous Light but nothing chunky enough to make me take the chance, and I have no idea why those reviews and recommendations didn’t mention MAGICAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT, because that was all it took to get me on board with Rivers Of London and The Laundry Files, and that’s all it’s gonna take here. Great list!

  4. Love the twist for this week’s prompt! I know the feeling when you just want someone else to read a book you loved.

There are a few on your list here that I need to read at some point, but I agree that An Enchantment of Ravens deserves more recognition! 🙂
