Hello everyone! I hope you had a lovely Tuesday, and got more sleep than me. (Three hours. We are finally giving up and doing some sleep training. A bit. Last night he cried for 2.5 hours before finally laying down. BUT HE SLEPT ALL NIGHT??? So…progress?) Anyway, It’s time for another edition of WWW Wednesday! What are you currently reading, what did you just finish reading, and what are you reading next? Let’s find out my answers below!

I’m a good chunk of the way into I’m Glad My Mom Died, and oh man, I feel so bad for Jennette. I loved iCarly growing up, and I hate that she was so unhappy for a huge chunk of her life. I hope she’s used this book as a form of closure and that she’s doing much better now. I finished up A Restless Truth, and my review will be out tomorrow. It was good, but not as good as A Marvellous Light. Next, I’ll either dive into Raven Unveiled, or I’ll read one of the many, many books on my spooky TBR that I’m just absolutely not going to finish, unfortunately.
I hope you’re doing better than I am with your reading this month!

I’ve just finished A Marvellous Light and loved it. A shame that you didn’t enjoy a Restless Truth as much

I think it was really just that I missed Robin and Edwin too much.

Glad he was able to get some sleep! I feel like my daughter never had any issues until now, lol. She is six and refuses to go to bed on time and makes a lot of excuses. I’m glad you are liking Jennette’s book. It goes to show that we really don’t know what is going on with people off screen. It was just so sad.

I wish you luck with your daughter! Hopefully she gets the hint soon that she just needs to go to sleep!

Sleep training is hard. I can’t remember how old your little one is, but it took us until my kid was 2 before she slept through the night. My husband did the cry it out thing with her — when I was gone for the weekend. It took one night and worked. He told me at the time that it only took 15 minutes, but last year he finally told me (she was 13 at time!) that it actually took like 2 hours or so and that he almost caved. It worked, though!
I’m Glad My Mom Died was a hard read. There’s nothing else to really describe it.

We’re not doing a true cry-it-out, we’re checking in on him after about 10/15 min of him crying. We won’t pick him up, we just sit on the floor and tell him we love him, that he’s safe, etc. I sang to him for a bit last night, too. He fell asleep after 2.5 hrs of crying, and one rage-poop. He was more angry than upset, I think.

Fingers crossed for tonight then!

Best of luck with the sleep training! I read a couple Grace Draven books a few months ago and loved them. I need to read more. Hope you enjoy whatever you pick up next!

I’m Glad My Mom Died was one of my favorite reads this year. I loved I Carly as a kid too and I had no idea what she was going through! I did see that she got a major book deal so she’ll be coming out with a novel next which is amazing because it seems like that’s her real passion. 🥰

I hope the book deal makes her super happy. She deserves it!!!

Every child is different, my son was almost 3 before he slept through the night and my daughter was 11 months. I hope you get more sleep and your son gets his rest too.

I also read I’m Glad My Mom Died, it was such a great memoir, but I felt so bad for Jennette as well 😔 A Restless Truth is one of my anticipated releases, I’m curious what I’ll think about it, especially as I saw that there’s going to be a third book now!

I feel so so bad for Jennette! What a life to lead, and what a horrible mother to have. And I’m pretty sure that series was always planned as a trilogy, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it ends!

I listened to I’m Glad My Mom Died and yeah.. it was rough. I feel so bad for her but I think this might have helped her get some closure. I hope. I hope you have a wonderful week! ❤
