Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. I love Top Ten Tuesday — I love seeing the unique answers every week, and I especially love the excuse to look at pretty cover art every Tuesday! This week’s topic is ONE WORD REVIEWS FOR THE LAST 10 BOOKS I READ. I can’t wait to see what everyone else comes up with for this week! Without any further ado, let’s jump in.

The title of each book links back to my full review.
- HOUSE OF EARTH AND BLOOD: Entertaining
- OF BEAST AND BURDEN: Underdeveloped
- ALWAYS BE MY DUCHESS: Meh
- GALLANT: Short
- THE STARDUST THIEF: Epic
- WOLF GONE WILD: Mediocre
- IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER: Fun
- JUNIPER & THORN: Dark
- WE ALL FALL DOWN: Absorbing
- OUR LADY OF MYSTERIOUS AILMENTS: Confusing
Do you agree with any of my one-word reviews? Link your TTT below so I can check it out!

Reading Of Beast and Burden now, and I can definitely already see some underdeveloped parts!

It had such potential but just didn’t quite get there!

It wasn’t BAD, it just wasn’t great, either!

Great post, loving this week’s topic. Totally agree with hoeab and your review for Juniper and Thorn has me even more intrigued

It’s a beautifully told story, but I didn’t mesh with the vibes personally! It’s extremely dark.

I agree with Gallant being short LOL, accurate! I didn’t like The Wolf & The Woodsman so I’m debating if I’ll give Juniper & Thorn a try or not…

Yeah, with how I felt at the end of Juniper & Thorn, I’ll probably be skipping Wolf and the Woodsman!

Oof, good to know, I might skip Juniper & Thorn then…

I’ve seen a few people do Gallant this week and it’s amazing how different everyone’s word has been! It is definitely short though, no arguing there.

It’s a very divisive book, I think!

So it seems! I have to admit, I have been wading through it fairly slowly, though I think that’s more just how busy I am than anything else.

The only one I have read is It Happened One Summer and I agree, it was fun.

Great descriptors, I did not think of confusing! I will keep it in mind for future reviews, LOL.

Well, it was the only word that really fit, ahaha! That book left me confused, and not in a good way!
