MONTHLY TBR – MAY

It’s that time again — time to pick out my TBR for the next month! May is my (and my son’s) birthday month! I’ll be thirty-two on May 10th. Woah. I don’t currently have any plans for celebrating yet, but we’ll see. My kiddo, however, is going to have a party when my family comes up to visit. Not that he’ll care, seeing as he’s turning one! WHERE DID THE LAST YEAR GO, I ASK YOU?

ANYWAYS, In April, I read a grand total of nine books. I didn’t, however, finish my TBR. Whoops. In the Shadow of Lightning, The Atlas Six, and A Far Wilder Magic have all been bumped over to May’s TBR. The top four books are all ARCs that I’ll need to get to sooner rather than later — I’m really looking forward to Dark Earth. The bottom four books have all been out for a bit, and are available at my library, thank goodness. Rules of Arrangement is art-heisty goodness, or so I’ve been told!

Have you read any of the books on my TBR? What’s on your TBR this month?

  1. Natasha Pulley is one of my favorite authors although The Kingdoms isn’t her strongest book in my opinion. I’m still excited to hear what you think of it though! I hope to be reading The Atlas Six soon as well (I’m waiting for my library to give it to me).
I hope you enjoy all your May reads 😊

    1. Ooo okay! I had never heard of her before I saw this book and immediately added it to my TBR. I’ll have to look into her backlist some more! I’m about 20% of the way into Atlas Six and I’m enjoying it so far! I hope you enjoy your reads this month, too!!

  2. Oh, I LOVED A Far Wilder Magic! I hope you enjoy. Booked on a Feeling (I can’t see that title without bursting into Blue Swede, lol) is also on my TBR, and I’ve heard good things about it, so I have high hopes. Happy birthday month!!

    1. Ahh you’re the second person on this post saying she’s your favorite author! I’ll have to look into her more, I don’t think I’ve ever read any of her books before! Tor reached out to me personally to read Daughter of Redwinter, so I’m thrilled to get into it!

Thanks so much!! I hope May is good to you, too!

    1. Yay!! I can’t wait to read it — I’m a huge art nerd, so anything regarding that has my full attention! 🙂 I hope we both like it!
